If arriving by ferry Agia Anna is about 4 miles from the main town of Naxos, if arriving by plane it is about 2 miles. Just North of Agia Anna is the beach resort of Agios Prokopios, this can easily be reached by foot. By moped or car you can head south from Agia Anna to Mikri Vigla which is south of Agia Anna. Mikri Vigla is a popular kite surfing/windsurfing bay – see link here. Continuing south is Kastraki and Pyrgaki, the beaches here are very nice with a few tavernas.
